Subject: A plane on the lake is worth two in the bush
Canadian produced yarn about battling brothers who are rivals in the air and in love. The plot is formula all the way. Not much in the way of production values, except for some good if unspectacular aviation cinematography. Stars Rochelle Hudson, Austin Willis and Jack La Rue. An okay time-passer if you're okay with predictable plots.

Two minutes are missing from this print. Good video and audio.

CAST NOTE: Between 1930 and 1967, Rochelle Hudson appeared in 70 films and 9 TV productions, plus she dubbed Honey's voice for 32 Bosko cartoons. She most often starred in B-features, but she also had major supporting roles in films like "Poppy," "Imitation of Life"(1934), "Les Miserables"(1935) and "Curley Top." She can be seen here at IA in "Judge Priest," "Rubber Racketeers," "Devil's Cargo" and in the title role of "The Savage Girl." There could be more.
